
Meet Steph Maalouf INHC

Greetings beautiful people! I'm Steph, an Integrative Nutritional Health Coach, and graduate of the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. Currently, my main focus is serving adults and children who are challenged with anxiety. I have transcended my own anxiety diagnosis, and am passionate about helping others experience anxiety free lives! I teach clients practices that manage and reduce anxiety, such as, breath work, mindful movement, meditation, body tapping and deep self exploration. Clients and I also investigate how dietary and sleeping habits could be affecting their health and wellness. When working with me, you'll also be invited to explore sensory rituals, which are scientifically proven to generate new neural networks in the brain. These new networks support clients in their quest to experience life differently. All the practices and rituals I teach can be established as healthy habits-- and these new habits replace those associated with anxiousness and overwhelm. I am absolutely thrilled to serve you throughout your journey to wellness!
Breathe
Research shows breathwork can reduce anxiety, stress and symptoms of depression while improving sleep, focus, and emotional regulation. Breathwork activates the body's relaxation response by directly affecting the parasympathetic nervous system. I will guide you through breathing techniques that promote relaxation, and improve oxygen intake. Give yourself permission to feel anxiety melting away~

All Sessions Conducted Virtually

Personalized Assessment
One hour in depth assessments create space for me to become familiar with your unique situation. You will experience a calm, supportive presence while discussing your current habits, challenges and aspirations. An example of the questions I ask, relate directly to your current eating and sleeping patterns. All assessments conclude with an uplifting, inspiring guided meditation. Assessments are mandatory to move forward with one on one sessions. They are an integral reference point for us throughout your coaching journey.

Coaching Sessions
One hour coaching session that begins with space for you to talk about your most current experiences and to define and set intention. This allows me to assess your needs and implement the practices that will serve you best. You will ultimately decide what you will weave into your daily habits. In these sessions, you can expect to be guided in meditation, breath work, somatic movement, voice activation, and body tapping..

Sensory Ritual Session
In these one hour sessions, I will present rituals related to movement, your sense of smell, touch and hearing. Sensory rituals are well researched practices that allow new neural pathways to develop in the brain. Sensory rituals also update our nervous system and allow us to experience life in adaptive ways. Sensory rituals are especially helpful for those who have suffered injury, including mental/emotional trauma. The intention is to introduce rituals that ultimately become weekly or daily practices. Through experimentation, you decide which rituals serve you best.

Movement is Medicine
Regular movement is a cornerstone of a healthy, anxiety free life and I will play a vital role in helping you make it a reality. Research shows that clients benefit from the guidance and support of a coach. By focusing on realistic goals and creating sustainable exercise rhythms, health coaches help clients make movement a fun, enjoyable part of their lives!
